Hardware Hopping :)

It was supposed to be a weekend spent in total clean-up of our future "love nest" when something came up. The Wanderer in me took control, and commanded an alternative thing to do. Suddenly, I wanted to go hardware hopping.  Yes! You read it right, hardware hopping...Hardware hopping, it is!
And my hubby could only scratch his head, and tag along.

Why?

Again.. Like how we planned our wedding, we also wanted to have our dream home to be something built out of our own personalities.  While it would surely require professional services, we still wanted it to be reflective of our own personal touch.  Nelson will be our home's architect, and myself as the interior designer:) This is another project that requires a quality that we know (modesty aside) we already have, and that's being artistic! :)

What I specifically wanted to do is check and compare prices of the construction supplies.  That was the first part.

But I guess we took a more adventurous turn. Yay! Instead of going from one hardware to another, the next place we visited was a glass-installation office after a trip to a nearby hardware store.  This was followed by a visit to a flooring materials supplier, then a window blinds supplier. Oh how these eyes that love all beautiful things sparkled! The designs were amazing!  That was the crazy part.

And it got crazier.

I saw a poster outside one of those mentioned offices, and it showed a WorldBex advertisement. It was an event happening on that same day at the World Trade Center, and since we were up for it, we decided to go right then and there without considering that we were still in our "pambahay outfit".

Upon reaching the place, we saw this huge WORLDBEX signage. That wasn't hard to miss. And... just like in wedding fairs, you would see the crowds of people having eco-bags or having promotional brochures on-hand. Before entering the hall, we had to check-in at the registration. And once we got our name tags, we're ready to tour around.

Immediately, we were welcomed by nice house set-ups, and a lot of new-to-my-eyes things! I only had a handy cam, so here are the photos (not-so-good in quality) but I had captured some interesting items that I wanted to share with you.
